the four horsemen of the apocalypse, magical girls meant to pioneer hopes and trends, though they became walking advertisements for their four tragedies to downplay their impact. (more info about them individually under the cut)

The 1st Horseman of the Apocalypse, War (They/Them, 25). They will do anything to carry out their missions' success and loves the thrill of victory. They're rather dim-witted and cheerful, and despite having chess themed powers, they are terrible at chess. They frequently have chess matches with Conquest, and often works alongside him.

The 2nd Horsemen of the Apocalypse, Conquest (He/She, 25). Unlike his coworker, War, he's more cunning and sharp tongued. Able to think on the fly, he will do anything to see deadly beasts 6 feet under. He by far has the most experience in combat situations, however is quick to throw his temper when things aren't done his way. Conquest hardly swears, instead opting for more personal jabs at others' incompetence.

The 3rd Horsemen of the Apocalypse, Famine (They/Them, 26). Possibly the most unassuming Horsemen to have a body count, Famine is frequently very lax on rules and indulges on snacks often. Due to a life long history of medical issues though, they are very weak physically and often needs their cane to walk. They enjoy teasing the other Horsemen greatly, often leaving them a flustered mess.

The 4th Horsemen of the Apocalypse, Death (She/They, 26). Probably has the highest body count of all the horsemen, they've grown empty over the years of being a magical girl. The only thing motivating her to live is the other magical girls. Her sense of heroism and justice has become warped, and she no longer cares for her city's empty propaganda. They care greatly for the other Horsemen, and care nothing for everything else, including their own wellbeing.
